Dropkick Murphys are back with a new single, Sirens.
Propelled by a gritty guitar riff and uproarious vocals, the rowdy, punk track tackles division among American society and marks the first taster of a new album from the Boston band, due out in 2025. Leading the rallying cry, frontman Ken Casey commented on the billionaires profiting from the unrest:
"For nearly a decade, the division between red and blue, right and left, has grown deeper, darker and uglier — dividing families, and ending friendships. Nobody enjoys this more than the billionaires, who are making record profits off the blood, sweat, and tears of the working class. They love it when we fight amongst ourselves, because their biggest fear is us joining together to come after them…THE REAL ENEMY."

The Celtic punk stalwarts will tour the UK and Europe early next year, following their fall North American dates, and Australian shows later this year. Tickets are on sale now.
They've also confirmed March 14, 15, 16 and 17 as the Boston dates for next year's annual hometown Boston St. Patrick's Day Weekend Celebration shows. Venue and ticket details, as well as the full dates for their 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Tour, are to be revealed soon.
In other news, the group recently capped their Woody Guthrie acoustic journey with the release of a documentary film about working class music, This Machine Rising, streaming below. It follows the group's pair of acoustic albums, 2022's 'This Machine Still Kills Fascists' and 2023's 'Okemah Rising', both of which interpreted the work of the American songwriting hero Guthrie for a new generation.
