Lady Gaga To Release Joker: Folie à Deux Companion Album 'Harlequin' On Friday

Lady Gaga has announced 'Harlequin', an accompanying album to her new film, Joker: Folie à Deux.
Having recently teased the project online, the singer and actor has now confirmed via social media that the 13-song record will arrive this Friday (September 27), preceding the film's release in UK and US cinemas on October 4. Gaga plays the role of Harleen "Lee" Quinzel alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the musical sequel to 2019's Joker.
The 13-time Grammy-winner has also shared the record's cover art (above), as well as a photo of a milk carton displaying what appears to be the tracklist, featuring a number of covers from the film, as well as new songs.
In addition to 'Harlequin', Gaga previously revealed that the first single from 'LG7', her seventh studio album, will drop in October. Both records will follow her recent surprise single with Bruno Mars, Die With A Smile.
Gaga's latest studio album is 2020's 'Chromatica', which was followed by 'Love For Sale' with the late Tony Bennett in 2021. She also contributed to the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack in 2022.
