Rizzle Kicks have shared a new single called Gumdrops.
Coupling elements of pop and R&B, the infectious track follows Jordan Stephens and Harley Sulé's summer comeback single Javelin, which marked their first release as a duo in nine years. They said:
"Gumdrops is our homage to growth, discussing what 'lad culture' used to be when we grew up. It was interesting delving back into the questionable ideologies that created us. Sugar is also a persistent issue for us both and potentially the entire world because it’s so addictive, haha. And then finally the gumdrops line slipped in partly in homage to an old song we used to love by a rap crew called LDN Zoo."
Both songs are set to feature on an upcoming project from the pair, though further details are yet to be confirmed.
Rizzle Kicks, whose latest album is 2013's 'Roaring 20s', will play London's KOKO on November 8, marking their first performance in nearly a decade. Tickets are on sale.
