Xzibit Announces New Album 'Kingmaker' With Lead Single Play This At My Funeral

Xzibit has returned with details of his first new album in over a decade.
The West Coast rapper-turned-actor will release his eighth studio album, 'Kingmaker', in early 2025 via UFC champion Conor McGregor's new label Greenback Records.
Head below to hear the lead single, Play This At My Funeral, which finds the Detroit-born, Los Angeles-raised MC reflecting on his accomplishments and tough background over percussion and piano-led production.
A second single, Been A Long Time Pt. 2, a sequel to Been A Long Time from Xzibit's 2000 album 'Restless', is set to drop on October 25.
A release date for the follow-up to 2012's 'Napalm' is still to be confirmed. Between 2013 and 2020, Xzibit released a series of albums as part of the West Coast collective Serial Killers, the latest being 2020's 'Summer Of Sam'.
