Skepta Shares Flo Milli Collaboration Why Lie?

Monday, 14 October 2024 Written by Jon Stickler

Skepta and Flo Milli have teamed up for a new single.

A departure of sorts for the London grime star, Why Lie? finds the two artists going back-and-forth, mixing Skepta's more melodic auto-tune styled vocals with the Alabama rapper's sultry tone. Head below to view its video, filmed in New York City by director and visual artist Hidji, known for his work with Young Thug, Ksubi and A$AP Mob.

Skepta will support Black Coffee at the producer and DJ's show at the Depot Mayfield, Manchester on October 26, as part of The Warehouse Project gig series. Tickets are on sale now.

Skepta released his most recent studio album, 'Ignorance Is Bliss', in 2019, though he did also put out 'Insomnia' with Chip and Young Adz in 2020. Flo Milli, meanwhile, released her second album, 'Fine Ho, Stay', in March of this year.
