070 Shake has announced a new album.
The follow-up to 2022's 'You Can't Kill Me' is titled 'Petrichor' and will arrive on November 15 via Def Jam Recordings / G.O.O.D Music.
To coincide with the news, the New Jersey artist, real name is Danielle Balbuena, has shared the record's two-part lead single, Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues. Produced by Dave Hamelin, Tyler Johnson and Patrick Krief, it showcases Shake's genre-fusing ability, beginning with a retro '50s and '60s-inspired jukebox pop aesthetic before moving to more brooding, bluesy territory.
Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Bennett Watanabe and starring 070 Shake and her partner, actress Lily-Rose Depp. The clip draws inspiration from Wong Kar-Wai's 1995 neo-noir film Fallen Angels and Gaspar Noe’s 2018 psychological horror film Climax.
