Sophie Ellis-Bextor Shares New Song Freedom Of The Night

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has shared a new song, Freedom Of The Night.
Arriving via the British singer's new label home Decca Records, the infectious disco-pop track sees her reunited with Biff Stannard and Shura, while also working with Chris Greatti and David Wrench on the production. She said:
"I have always been someone that needs music to help me recalibrate and Freedom Of The Night is all about that feeling. Music as a form of release and a little bit of hedonism. I’ve always needed that energy in my life, and I know I’m not alone. As the song says, sometimes you need to give in to what you want."
The single follows the resurgence of her 2001 hit Murder On The Dance Floor after it featured in the memorable final scene of Emerald Fennell's 2023 film Saltburn. She released her seventh studio album, 'HANA', that same year.
