After much teasing, Lady Gaga's new single has arrived.
Disease finds the superstar singer and songwriter on fine form, delivering high drama with her trademark empassioned and dynamic vocals atop distorted guitars and synths, bass-heavy beats and chain clink samples.
She wrote the song with Andrew Watt, Cirkut and her fiancé Michael Polansky, with Watt and Cirkut also producing the track alongside Gaga.
The single is the first to be shared from her new album, which is expected in spring 2025. The vocalist has been referring to the follow-up to 2020's 'Chromatica' as 'LG7', though it's not clear if that is the actual title or just a placeholder.
In September, the actor and musician put out 'Harlequin', an accompanying album to Joker: Folie à Deux, the musical sequel to 2019's Joker in which she plays Harleen "Lee" Quinzel alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
Prior to that, she released Die With A Smile, a surprise collaboration with Bruno Mars, in August.
