Rizzle Kicks Announce First Album In Over A Decade 'Competition Is For Losers'

Rizzle Kicks have announced their first album in over a decade.
The British duo, Jordan Stephens and Harley Sulé, will release 'Competition Is For Losers' on February 14 via BMG.
To coincide with the announcement, the pair have shared a new single, New Sport, which brings together elements of funk and soul with smooth R&B vocals and witty lyricism. Check out the accompanying video below. Commenting on the clip, director Earthboi said:
"Rizzle Kicks were an early part of my childhood and their resurgence, still as icons was something I really wanted to capture. In the search of crafting iconicity, which largely speaks to their upcoming project, I stumbled upon a series of images of Basquiat and Warhol posed as athletes. I felt like this image fully encompasses the idea of art as a "new sport"."
Although a tracklist is still to be revealed, the band's website listing of the new record confirms Gumdrops and Javelin will appear on it.
Rizzle Kicks, whose last album was 2013's 'Roaring 20s', will play a sold-out show at London's KOKO tonight (November 8), marking their first performance in almost 10 years. They also have UK dates in the diary for the spring, including a Great Escape Festival Spotlight Show on May 16. Tickets are on sale now.
