Heartfelt and deeply personal, the soulful track finds the Middlesbrough singer-songwriter reflecting on self-acceptance and vulnerability within the complexities of love and mental health. He said:
"The song ADHD is about being loved in the way you want to be loved. When you experience that, it’s something truly special, especially if you tend to be self-deprecating or have trouble receiving love due to issues or conditions that others might not understand. ADHD is one of those conditions I have that some people might not fully understand – but when someone accepts you for all your flaws, it can feel like your dreams are a reality."
Arthur released his fifth album, 'Bitter Sweet Love', back in January. It reached number one on the UK Official Albums Chart.
The 36-year-old will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his self-titled debut album with two special acoustic concerts at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 18 and 19. Tickets are on sale now.
