James Arthur is a singer-songwriter from Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire.

Beginning his career in 2012 after winning the ninth series of The X Factor UK, he released his self-titled debut album the following year, going on to release a number of hugely successful singles such as Impossible, Say You Won't Let Go and his cover of Rewrite The Stars, which features on the official Greatest Showman Reimagined soundtrack.

Now with a total of five studio LPs to his name, he has become one of the most recognised faces in modern UK pop, and is due to put out his sixth album, 'Pieces' in April 2025.

James Arthur's Pieces World Tour wraps up in the UK and Ireland in early 2026, following a North American trek between May and July 2025, and European dates the following November/December. He'll also take over the Royal Albert Hall on March 26, 2025, as part of the Teenager Cancer Trust’s annual series of fundraising shows.
