The Wombats Confirm Summer Show For Liverpool's On The Waterfront Series

The Wombats have scheduled a summer show in Liverpool.
The band will return to their Merseyside roots with a performance at the Pier Head on June 19 as part of the city's On The Waterfront concert series. Support will come from Pale Waves and Sawyer Hill. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 29.
Commenting on their biggest hometown show to date, drummer Dan Haggis said:
"Hey Liverpool!! Think we’d forgotten about you?!! As if! We’re so excited to announce that we’re playing a huge hometown show, back where it all began, on the 19th June 2025!! The Mersey and Liver Buildings will provide the backdrop, we’ll provide the tunes. It’s going to be a special night full of new music from our upcoming sixth album and of course a load of old bangers…so grab yourself a ticket, polish up those dancing shoes and we’ll see you there! The ‘Bats."
Also confirmed for the Liverpool series are The Wolfe Tones, Cream Classical Ibiza, and Sting. Head here for tickets.
The new concert will follow the trio's previously announced spring UK and European tour, featuring support from Everything Everything and Red Rum Club. Tickets for the UK dates are on sale now. Tickets for the European shows go on sale at 10am local time on Friday (November 29).
The Wombats will release their sixth studio album, 'Oh! The Ocean', on February 21. Early singles already shared from the record include Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want To Come and Blood On The Hospital Floor.
They were also recently announced as one of the first acts for next year's Kendal Calling festival in Cumbria and the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington.
