Leftfield have announced 35th anniversary shows in London and Glasgow for next year.
The electronic duo will mark 35 years since the first Leftfield track, Not Forgotten, while also commemorating 30 years of their groundbreaking debut album, 'Leftism', with special gigs at the O2 Academy Brixton and the Barrowland Ballroom on May 30 and June 6, respectively.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (December 6). Leftfield founder Neil Barnes said:
"It will be 35 years since I released the first Leftfield track, Not Forgotten, and 30 years of 'Leftism'. It feels like the perfect time to celebrate. Brixton Academy and Glasgow Barrowlands are the only places that felt right for us to blow the roofs off. Leftfield 35—Leftism & beyond. Let’s make it unforgettable. Can’t wait to see you there!"
Barnes and Paul Daley will also play Bearded Theory festival in Derbyshire in May, and All Together Now in Ireland in July.
They released their most recent album, 'This Is What We Do', in 2022, followed by a Record Store Day exclusive remix edition titled 'This Is What We Do. Version Excursion' in 2023.
