Smokey Robinson To Bring The Legacy Tour To UK In July

Smokey Robinson has announced summer UK arena shows for The Legacy Tour.
The Grammy Award-winning Motown icon will perform at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo, Birmingham's Utilita Arena, Cardiff's Utilita Arena and London's Eventim Apollo between July 3 and 11. The run will also include a stop at Love Supreme Festival in East Sussex, though it's not yet been confirmed on which day he'll perform.
The shows will see the singer-songwriter celebrating the 50th anniversary of his 1975 breakthrough album, 'A Quiet Storm'. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (December 6). Robinson said:
"I always love performing in the UK, it has been too long. These special shows mark the 50th anniversary of ‘A Quiet Storm’, an album that is truly special to me. So whilst I want to honour that record, and those amazing times, this will also be a celebration of everything that has come before and we will be performing all the hits. It’s been over 10 years and I cannot wait to return in July 2025 and entertain all my UK fans."
The veteran performer recently confirmed a return to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort, Las Vegas for three nights, with performances lined up for April 2, 4 and 5. The shows will take place as part of a run of spring US dates.
He's currently on the road in the US with his Soulfully Yours Tour, which heads to Port Chester, New York tomorrow (December 4). Tickets are on sale now.
Robinson released his latest studio album, 'Gasms', in 2023.
