The Nigerian superstar took to Instagram to reveal the aptly titled '5ive' will arrive in early 2025, though a release date is still to be confirmed. He wrote:
"THE JOURNEY CONTINUES in 2025 with my new album, 5IVE!! This one is straight from the heart - my story, my truth, my growth."
Alongside the announcement, the singer has shared a new single, Funds with Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and rising singer Chiké. The track samples late South African singer Brenda Fassie's 1997 song Vuli Ndlela over a bouncy rhythm that embraces Davido's Afrobeats roots. It follows his October single, Awuke featuring reggae artist YG Marley.
Davido released his latest album, 'Timeless', in 2023.
