The Stylistics Announce Star-Studded New Album 'Falling In Love With My Girl'

The Stylistics have announced their first new album in almost two decades.
The Philadelphia soul legends, famous for their hits Stop, Look, Listen, You Are Everything and You Make Me Feel Brand New, will release 'Falling In Love With My Girl' on February 21.
The 21-track collection was produced by Tom Cridland and executive produced by Deborah Cridland, and features original members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell along with Jason Sharp, who joined in 2011, collaborating with a star-studded cast of artists.
The first single, Yes, I Will, a duet written by country artist Shania Twain, will precede the record on February 14. Ray Parker Jr., Steve Lukather of Toto and bassist Nathan East also perform on the track, The Stylistics' first new music in 17 years. Twain commented:
"I’m so happy that this song I wrote Yes, I Will has found a home on The Stylistics album. That is just so exciting. It’s a special song that came together on one special day at my home where I was hanging out with some friends and musicians. So I think it turned out great and I’m just really excited to share it with the whole world."
Love added: "I fell in love with Shania Twain the first time I heard You’re Still The One - a great song that I still love. When we heard there might be a chance to do something with her we said, “Hell yeah!"
Other guest spots on the album include Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Gene Simmons of KISS, Tower Of Power, Nigel Olsson and Davey Johnstone of The Elton John Band, Bill Champlin of Chicago, Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, and The Real Thing.
The Stylistics have shows at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, and The Wiltern, Hollywood in the diary on January 9 and 11, respectively. They'll also play two concerts in Hawaii. Tickets are on sale now. Further dates are to be announced.
