Due to demand, System of a Down have added an extra date to each of their stadium shows they confirmed earlier this week with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones.
The alt-metal giants will double up at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on August 27 with Korn, the day before their previously confirmed gig at the venue. They'll play a second gig at Chicago's Soldier Field on September 1 with Avenged Sevenfold, and an extra show at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on September 5 with Deftones.
Support on all dates will come from special guests Polyphia and Wisp. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on Friday (December 13).
Grammy-winners System of a Down put out their latest album, 'Hypnotize', in 2005, though they released two songs, Protect The Land and Genocidal Humanoidz, through Bandcamp for the Armenia Fund in 2020.
Frontman Serj Tankian released a solo EP titled 'Foundations' this September, and bassist Shavo Odadjian shared Paradise, the debut single from his new band Seven Hours After Violet, in June, followed by two further songs, Radiance and Alive.
Korn dropped their latest album, 'Requiem', in 2022, and Avenged Sevenfold put out their eighth studio album, 'Life Is But A Dream...', in 2023.
Deftones released their most recent studio album, 'Ohms', in 2020. The same year, they put out a 20th anniversary deluxe edition of 'White Pony'.
