Joey Bada$$ has posted a video for his new song.
The Ruler's Back finds the Brooklyn-born New York rapper waxing lyrical about his own prowess and confirming his return: "I got murals in my city, fuck a nomination, This for every time they left me out the conversation, I'm back by popular demand and world domination." Watch its lo-fi accompanying clip, directed by Waqas Ghani, below.
The track follows his Lila Iké collaboration Fry Plantain and an appearance on Cordae's song Syrup Sandwiches, which both came out in November. He guested on more singles in 2024, but also put out his own, Tell Me featuring Chlöe, in September.
However, despite the new material there's currently no update on a follow-up to his last album, 2022's '2000'.
