Manic Street Preachers Release New Single People Ruin Paintings

Manic Street Preachers have shared another single from their forthcoming album.
People Ruin Paintings marks the third preview of 'Critical Thinking', due out on January 31 via Columbia. Built around a melodic guitar line, with layered synths and piano, the shimmering track is described by the Welsh rock band as, "musically the three of us playing telepathically, referencing thirty plus years of playing together instinctively."
The trio previously teased the follow-up to 2021's 'The Ultra Vivid Lament' with the autumn single Hiding In Plain Sight, which finds bassist and songwriter Nicky Wire singing lead vocals for the first time, and their summer track Decline & Fall.
Manic Street Preachers will embark on a UK tour in the spring, featuring two nights apiece at Glasgow Barrowland, the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, Manchester’s O2 Apollo and Swansea Arena, plus single shows at Civic at the Halls in Wolverhampton and Bristol Beacon.
They'll also headline Bearded Theory festival in Derbyshire in May. Tickets are on sale.
