Jason Isbell Announces First Solo Acoustic Album 'Foxes In The Snow' With Lead Single Bury Me

Jason Isbell has shared details of his first entirely solo, acoustic album.
'Foxes In The Snow' was recorded by the Grammy-winning country star on the same all-mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar over five days at the famous Electric Lady Studios in New York City last October.
Previewing his bare-bones approach, Isbell has shared the record's first single and opening track, Bury Me, a rustic, introspective, country-folk offering that opens with a cappella vocals before building to a catchy chorus.
The singer-songwriter will release 'Foxes In The Snow' on March 7 via his own Southeastern Records. His most recent LP is 'Weatherwaves', which he put out with his band, The 400 Unit, in 2023.
He'll embark on a solo UK and European tour, billed An Intimate Evening With Jason Isbell, in February. Following that, he'll tour North America, playing solo dates as well as full band shows. Tickets are on sale now.
