Biig Piig has shared a new single, One Way Ticket.
Muted and understated, the melancholic alt-pop track will appear on the Irish artist's debut album, '11:11', due out on February 7 via RCA. Biig Piig said:
"This is a track that I made with a long-time collaborator of mine and producer that I love. It brought me into some memories about a person in my life that had passed. I reflected on what it's like to go through these amazing things that are happening in life and got me thinking about how they would be proud of me. They'd said if I kept dreaming that I'd get there, so really, it’s like a letter to them."
It arrives ahead of Jessica Smyth's UK and European tour, which begins in mid-February. She'll also perform at Glasgow's TRNSMT festival in July. Tickets are on sale.
Smyth previously teased the record with the singles Ponytail, Favourite Girl, 4AM and Decimal.
