The first acts have been announced for this year's Teenage Cancer Trust concert series at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Sex Pistols' Paul Cook, Glen Matlock and Steve Jones will be joined by vocalist Frank Carter to perform the punk legends' 1977 seminal album 'Never Mind The Bollocks' in its entirety at the iconic venue on March 24. Joining The Sex Pistols and Frank Carter will be special guests Kid Kapichi and The Molotovs.
Middlesbrough singer-songwriter James Arthur will take to the stage on March 26, followed by The Who and special guests Level 42 who perform on March 27 and 30, and The Corrs on March 28.
In addition to the musical line-up, comedian Micky Flanagan will entertain on March 25, and GK Barry, who is announced as the 2025 Teenage Cancer Trust ambassador, will headline on March 29, with the set billed as GK Barry Live! With very special guests.
Known for her humorous TikTok videos and the popular Saving Grace podcast, Barry follows in the footsteps of The Who frontman Roger Daltrey as the charity's ambassador. Daltrey stepped down in 2024 after fundraising and advocating for 22 years, though he remains an honorary patron. Barry said:
"I went to a Teenage Cancer Trust at Royal Albert Hall gig in 2024 and it was such an amazing night, so it’s incredible that as well as becoming a new ambassador for the charity, I’m also performing at the gigs alongside such iconic names.
"I wanted to get involved with Teenage Cancer Trust because a lot of my followers are teenagers and young people. I think it's so amazing to support a cause that could help my audience and their friends or a loved one.
"Being a teenager is hard enough as it is, so if there’s anything I can do alongside the charity to help to support the people they work with, I’m there!"
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 9am on Friday (January 31).
The Royal Albert Hall has hosted fundraising concerts for the charity since 2000. In 2024, guests included The Who, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Young Fathers, and The Chemical Brothers.
