The Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity aiming to help young sufferers of cancer, by raising money to open specialist wards designed for teenagers and children.
One way the charity helps raise money is with the annual Teenage Cancer Trust live event. The driving force behind the shows are The Who's Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, and the events have seen a number of the country’s biggest stars in music and comedy perform in the past, including Ed Sheeran, Wet Leg, McFly, Stereophonics, Romesh Ranganathan, Depeche Mode, Florence + The Machine, Biffy Clyro, The Cure, Jason Manford, Liam Gallagher, Micky Flanagan, Patrick Kielty, Rob Beckett, One Republic, The Courteeners, Suede, Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Yungblud, The Who, Van Morrison, Kevin Bridges, Joel Dommett, The Vaccines and John Bishop. The Teenage Cancer Trust annual charity concert will return to the Royal Albert Hall in March 2024, with headline performances from The Who, Noel Gallagher, Young Fathers, The Chemical Brothers and more, plus a night of comedy that includes sets from Kevin Bridges, Rob Beckett and Joanne McNally, to name just a few. Fantastic value for money and great entertainment
London Royal Albert Hall on March 30 2014
First time at the RAH for my son and I. We could not believe we got tickets to see Rizzle Kicks and Labrinyth. Found venue no problems, parked easily. Had food at nearby restaurant - yummy. Atmosphere was wicked. Excellent acoustics. Only down side they sold out of kids t-shirts. Highlight Earthquake - sic tune.
