Two more acts will perform at this year's BRIT Awards.
North Shields artist Sam Fender and rising South London singer-songwriter Lola Young are the final acts confirmed, completing the line-up for the 2025 ceremony at London's O2 arena on March 1. Fender, who is nominated for Artist Of The Year and Alternative/Rock Act, said:
"Me and the band are so excited to perform at The BRIT Awards this year - we can’t wait to get up on that stage again!"
"I am super excited and grateful to be performing at The BRIT Awards this year," Young commented. "It's a dream come true and an absolute honour to share this moment alongside so many incredible artists. To be nominated is a huge achievement for me and I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received."
They join previously announced performers JADE, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party, and Sabrina Carpenter, who was recently announced as the recipient of the Global Success award. Back in December, Smith was announced as the winner of the Rising Star award.
Jack Whitehall will return to present the awards ceremony, and the show will be broadcast live on ITV1 and streaming service ITVX. Head here for more details and a full list of nominees.
Last night (February 17), Cat Burns kicked off BRITs Week for War Child, performing in Hackney, London at the Moth Club. Other acts set to headline intimate shows around the main awards event include Joy Crookes, Rachel Chinouriri, Frank Turner, Nova Twins, Kasabian, Clean Bandit, Tom Walker, Soft Play, and Rag'n'Bone Man.
It has just been announced that singer-songwriter James Bay will complete the 2025 line-up, performing at the 100 Club on March 5. For pre-sale tickets to that show, fans must register here before 3pm GMT on Wednesday (February 19). General sale commences at 10am on Friday (February 21). All other dates are on sale now.
Fender will release his new album, 'People Watching', this Friday (February 21). He recently shared the fourth single from the record, Remember My Name, which follows on from the previously unveiled Arm's Length, Wild Long Lie and the title track.
He'll play huge outdoor shows in Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast this summer. Head here for more details. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (February 21).
The dates are part of his People Watching Tour, which heads across Europe and North America in the coming months, before a massive performance at London Stadium, the singer's biggest to date, and three hometown shows in Newcastle in June. Tickets are on sale now, and £1 from every ticket will be donated to the Music Venue Trust to help support grassroots venues.
Fender was also recently announced as the first headliner for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, which this year will take place at Liverpool's Sefton Park in May.
He's also been confirmed as the ambassador for the 2025 edition of Record Store Day UK, which takes place on April 12.
Lola Young released her second album, 'This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway', in 2024, and will support it with a UK tour that kicks off next week. Following that, she'll play Coachella festival in California in April, and will appear at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in May. She'll also perform at Manchester's Parklife in June, and Reading and Leeds in August. Tickets are on sale now.
