Black Stone Cherry will put out a new album for Record Store Day.

Aptly titled 'This is Black Stone Cherry's RSD album. The band really likes it', the exclusive LP will be available via Mascot Records on limited-edition white and black smoke marble vinyl, plus CD, on April 12, with a digital release following on April 18.

The record will collect b-sides, covers, live tracks and previously unreleased songs for the first time on one record. It includes the latest version of Out Of Pocket, featuring guest vocals from Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach. The band said:

"We are so honoured and excited to finally have something to offer as a special Record Store Day Release! As vinyl lovers, collectors, and ambassadors for any local record shop out there, this is something we have wanted to do for many years. We have put an incredible collection of songs together for this. Some live, some collaborations, some unreleased! We hope you like it! As the title says, we really do!"

Alongside the news, the Kentucky quartet have shared one of the unreleased tracks, Have You Ever Been Lonely, which offers their signature driving rock riffs and fiery solos. "Have You Ever Been Lonely is a song of hope," they explained, "reminding us that even in our loneliest hour someone else has felt that and it is always worth it to keep moving."

Black Stone Cherry put out their latest album, and eighth overall, 'Screamin' At The Sky', in 2023.
