Sparks Confirm Release Date For 'MAD!', Share New Single JanSport Backpack

Sparks have confirmed a release date for their new album.
Having announced 'MAD!' in January, brothers Ron and Russell Mael have confirmed that the follow-up to 2023's 'The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte' will arrive on May 23 via Transgressive Records.
Comprising 12 tracks, including their January single Do Things My Own Way and the newly shared JanSport Backpack, an arty synth-laden pop track that you can check out below alongside the LP's cover art and tracklist.
The siblings will follow the record's release with shows in Japan between June 8 and 13, before UK and European tour dates between June 18 and July 8. Tickets are on sale now.
