Eddie Izzard has announced the Hamlet World Tour.
The British stand-up comedian, writer, actor and political activist will perform William Shakespeare's longest play, Hamlet, at venues across the UK between September 13 and November 5.
The trek will begin with two nights at Tunbridge Wells' Trinity Theatre and conclude at Cadogan Hall in London. Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Thursday (March 6).
The tour will also include a residency at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater between April 1 and 13. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
Izzard has previously toured Hamlet, having performed it at an extensive, four month-long residency in New York, before heading to Chicago, London and Bexhill-on-Sea.
