Macy Gray has announced UK and European dates celebrating 25 years of her debut album, 'On How Life Is'.
The R&B vocalist will kick off the tour on May 5 with a headline set at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, before performing three nights at the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London between May 6 and 8.
She'll also play Tunbridge Wells on May 10, following which she'll travel across mainland Europe for shows that run from mid-May to late June.
Gray will return to the UK for a second run of gigs between June 24 and 28, calling at Union Chapel in Islington, London, then Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Birmingham. Support in Islington, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham will come from Nigerian indie musician Tommy WÁ.
Tickets for her European shows, Tunbridge Wells gig and her three dates at Ronnie Scott's are on sale now. Cheltenham Jazz Festival goes on sale at 10am tomorrow (March 5).
Her shows in Islington, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham go on sale at 10am on Friday (March 7). Ticket details for her date in Newcastle are still to be confirmed.
Gray's 1999 debut LP featured her hit single, I Try, which won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2001. Her most recent solo studio album is 2018's 'Ruby', though she put a festive record, 'Christmas With You', and an album titled 'The Reset' with The California Jet Club, in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
More recently, in November 2024 she collaborated with Norwegian neo soul band D'Sound on the single Your Love Keeps Me.
