Ghost Announce Sixth Studio Album 'Skeleta' With First Single Satanized

Ghost have returned with a new figurehead and details of their sixth studio album.
The Grammy-winning Swedish band's next era begins with the new single Satanized, a mid-tempo rock earworm that continues the band's evolution from their raw, Sabbath worship doomy origins.
Offering a more commercially accessible sound, with hypnotising percussion, infectious guitars and '80s-inspired solo, the track arrives with a dramatic black and white video that reveals Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge's new frontman, Papa V Perpetua, and some new-look Nameless Ghouls backing him up. The follow-up to 2022's 'Impera' is titled 'Skeletá' and will arrive through Loma Vista Recordings on April 25, just after the band launch their biggest world tour to date, the Skeletour World Tour, with an extensive run of shows across the UK and Europe.
The North American leg of the trek will run between July and August, and includes Ghost's first ever show at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden. Tickets are on sale now.
Last June, the band premiered the concert film Rite Here Rite Now in cinemas, before its release on Blu-ray, DVD and limited VHS in December. The soundtrack arrived in July.
