John Legend has announced UK, European and North American dates celebrating 20 years of his debut album, 'Get Lifted'.
The 13-time Grammy Award-winner will kick off the tour on May 27 with a show at Glasgow's OVO Hydro, before heading to Manchester's Co-Op Live, Birmingham's Utilita Arena, and London's O2 Arena. He'll then play dates in the Netherlands, France, Germany, ahead of appearances at Denmark's Heartland Festival and Norway's Vaulen Open Air on June 12 and 14, respectively.
The North American leg of the trek will run between August and December, with notable stops at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York.
The concerts will see Legend perform the 14-track Grammy-winning record in full, including the singles Used To Love U, Number One, So High and Ordinary People, alongside some other fan favourites. He said:
"I'm so excited to announce that I'm heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour! Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire 'Get Lifted' album—the album that introduced me to the world—plus a few favorites from my career that *all of you* know and love."
Tickets for the UK and European shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (March 21). The North American dates go on general sale at 10am local time on March 28. Tickets for his festival appearances are on sale now.
To mark the 20th anniversary, 'Get Lifted' has been reissued as an expanded, deluxe edition digitally and on vinyl, featuring contributions from guests Tems, Killer Mike, Lil Wayne, Simi, and Black Thought, who appears on a remix version of Used 2 Love U.
Legend released an album of sing-alongs and lullabies for children and families in 2024. Before that, he put out 'Legend' in 2022.
