Due to demand, Lightning Seeds have announced new UK dates for their 35 Years Greatest Hits Tour.
Continuing their 35th anniversary celebrations, which saw them play a sold-out UK and Ireland tour in late 2024, the Ian Broudie-led band have lined up gigs in Ipswich, Bath, Northampton, York, Leicester, Holmfirth, Middlesbrough, Lincoln, Keele, Bournemouth and Chesterfield between October 2 and 25.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 28. Broudie said:
“Wow, I can't believe it's been 35 years! Our first single ‘Pure’ really opened the door to a life's worth of songs, shows and recordings. I owe everything to ‘Pure’ and I'm really looking forward to celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release with ‘Tomorrow's Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’ greatest hits album and tour in 2024.”
Also part of their 2024 anniversary celebrations, Lightning Seeds released 'Tomorrow's Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds' last October. Their last studio album, however, was 2022's 'See You In The Stars'.
