Lightning Seeds are an alternative rock band from Liverpool, England.
The band released their debut LP, 'Cloudcuckooland' in 1990, which was swiftly followed by 1992's 'Sense'. They expanded into a touring band following their third LP, 1994's 'Jollification'. The group experienced commercial success throughout the '90s and are well known for their single Three Lions, a collaboration with David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, which reached number one in the UK in both 1996 and 1998. They have since released a further five albums, with the most recent being 'See You In The Stars' in 2022. They also dropped a Greatest Hits record in 2024.
