It would seem Pete Doherty's current tour of Germany has yet to settle with reports surfacing that the singer has now allegedly been arrested.

Now, I’m not saying that Doherty brings on trouble himself - this time it may not have been his fault - but lets look at the facts, the indie star has now been arrested twice in one week, previously due to offending the whole of Germany.

The story is, whilst on stage in Germany during a previous gig not so long ago the singer burst into song. That’s fine you might think. However unfortunately for Pete the song he chose was the German national anthem complete with the forbidden verse. Outlawed after the end of the Second World War, the verse speaks of Germany's superiority to other nations. As the gig was being broadcast live on German radio, the transmission was pulled immediately and Doherty was hastily ushered offstage after completing a few more songs.

Doherty apologised to the outraged German fans but now it appears the singer has landed himself in yet more trouble. According to reports in the German press Pete Doherty has been arrested after throwing a pint glass at a car, smashing the back window.

“Thelocal”, a German news website, claims that Pete Doherty was arrested in Berlin on Saturday December 5th. After drinking in the Kreuzberg area of the city, the singer, along with two other mates, was thrown out of a bar. The three of them had come from Weiner Strasse where they had been tossed out of a bar. A bartended from the Trinkteufel Club told Bild. “I almost threw Pete out (of Trinkteufel) too. He was drinking shots and constantly asking about cocaine.”

As Doherty left the bar he allegedly threw a pint glass at a nearby car breaking the rear window in the process. Arrested by police he was locked up for three hours and got charged with property damage.

Ah yes, so it was his fault.

Again.
