They is pop, they is rock, they is catchier than scabies, they got nominated for Kerrang!’s best Newcomer award in 2007 but didn’t get it. That’s alright though, because they’ve just gone from strength to strength and their fans and their mothers love them.
The band have been locked up in a studio since last August, furiously working on their next album, ‘Dirt’. It’s due to be released towards the end of this year, so there’s more work to be done yet. In the meantime, The Kids will emerge blinking into the unfamiliar sunlight to support their buds, the Lost Prophets.
