Following the exclusive airing of their new single ‘Heartbeat Song’ on Radio One earlier this week, the band have immediately announced a lengthy UK tour to support their new album which is due for release in April this year.
Provisionally titled ‘The Chaos’, the album looks to be reminiscent of their debut self-titled album sound…but better! With the spikey, passionate but never saccharine punk pop tracks, it looks to be a blinder.
Having been let go by Warner Brother’s after their sophomore album ‘News And Tributes’, the band now make all releases through their own label Nul Records. Expect to see the new album out to buy on April 26th.
Speaking to NME.com about ‘The Chaos’ guitarist Ross Millard said the album takes on subjects including the war in Afghanistan, unemployment and the economic crisis. "There's been a real shitstorm to deal with as far as the country's concerned," Millard explained, though he added that the album is "massively positive".
