Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have raised doubts in their attendance to next week’s BRIT awards. A source told the Daily Mirror “Things are so bad that Noel is moving into a new house at the moment and is so off radar, Liam doesn’t even know his address”.
The attention seeking troublesome pair apparently have not spoken since their late 2009 split that brought an end to the band’s 18 year career. The Daily Mirror’s source added “It’s as if one is waiting for the other to crack and apologise. Liam’s thinking he’ll leave it until the last minute and will decide if he’s going on the day itself.”
The Manchester Brit-pop band’s 1995 album “What’s the Story (Morning Glory)” is nominated for a special Best Brits Album of the last 30 years prize at the London Earl’s Court ceremony. They face fairly mediocre opposition with only The Verve’s ‘Urban Hymns’ realistically giving it a run for its money. Other artists nominated for the special award include Keane’s ‘Hopes & Fears’, Coldplay’s ‘A Rush of Blood to the Head’ and Duffy’s ‘Rockferry’.
