Band Of Horses To Play One-Off Show At London's Koko

South Carolina’s finest, Band Of Horses, return to London later this year for a one-off show at Camden’s KOKO on Monday 12th April 2010.

Formed in 2004 Band Of Horses will be spending most of this April wandering around Europe with the London gig forming part of their extensive European tour. With unrestrained enthusiasm, Band Of Horses always live up to the hype during their live shows. Their sound has been described as being dreamy psychedelic pop with indie overtones and lashings of seventies prog-rock.

With such a sound they bring their albums to life with epic performances, a mix of passionate and sincere tunes and lap-steel guitars. A follow up to their 2007 album ‘Cease To Begin’ is expected sometime this year, with producer Phil Ek stating that work had begun on recording the band’s third album.

In addition to this, Band Of Horses guitarist and vocalist Ben Bridwell spoke of the new album, calling it ‘Night Rainbows’, several times while intorducing new songs during the band’s summer 2009 tour. This could be your chance to hear some new material by Band Of Horses as its meant to be heard – live and with no restraints!

Band Of Horses will play the following UK date:

Monday 12th April 2010, KOKO, Camden, London

Tickets are available from 9am on Friday 26th Februrary 2010.
