V Festival Line-Up Revealed

The long anticipated line-up for one of the UK’s biggest music events, V Festival 2010, has been revealed.

Kings of Leon and Kasabian, who were both top of the headliners rumour list, have been confirmed to headline the bash which takes place across two sites on the weekend of August 21st and 22nd.

Kasabian revealed. “We can’t wait. We feel it’s the right time for us to headline a festival. We’ve been playing so many festivals for so long, years and years. I think the moment is right. It’s just a wonderful thing to be doing. Our fans are going to love the show. They’ll really enjoy it.”

Crowds will also see main stage sets from the likes of the Stereophonics, The Prodigy, Paul Weller, The Kooks, Paulo Nutini and Madness. Also this year, playing the main stage for the first time as a solo artist, will be X-Factor judge and new singleton Cheryl Cole. Other acts that have confirmed to play are Pet Shop Boys, Pixie Lott, La Roux and Goldfrapp.

David Guetta and Faithless will be the headliners for the 4Music Tent, with Florence And The Machine and White Lies apparently due to appear as support.

The Festival takes place over two sites in Stafford and Chelmsford and a list of acts confirmed so far is below:
