Teenage Cancer Trust Announces Full Support Line-up

Teenage Cancer Trust today announced the full support line-up for its tenth anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall later this month.

Little Fish will join Them Crooked Vultures on Monday 22 March to kick off the spectacular nine-night line up. The full line up for Tuesday’s comedy night has been confirmed with host James Corden, Kevin Bridges, Jason Mansford and Tommy Tiernan joining comedy heroes Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding and Rhod Gilbert.

Brit-pop legends Suede reform for one night only and are joined by ‘anti avant-garde’ group These New Puritans on Wednesday 24 March. Noel Gallagher takes to the stage for two nights in his first performances since Oasis split last year, joined on Thursday 25 by Manc rockers The Courteeners and Plan B on Friday 26 March.

On Saturday 27 March, five piece indie band Mystery Jets support Arctic Monkeys. Ahead of their album releases this spring, Lemar and Diana Vickers join multi-Brit award winners JLS for Teenage Cancer Trust’s first every pop night on Sunday 28 March.

Monday 29 March is the Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig featuring ska legends The Specials supported by acoustic ska band The King Blues. Wrapping up Teenage Cancer Trust’s tenth year of concerts on Tuesday 30 is The Who performing Quadrophenia, joined by Mercury Music Prize nominees Sweet Billy Pilgrim.

Teenage Cancer Trust believes that teenagers should not have to stop being teenagers, just because they have cancer. The charity funds and develops specialist teenage cancer units within NHS hospitals which enable young people to be treated together, by an expert team, in the best possible environment. Teenage Cancer Trust focuses on quality of life and aims to improve the chances of survival for young people with cancer. Since its inception in 1990, the charity has opened a total of 14 units and plans to build enough so that, by 2012, every single teenager in the UK can have access to the support they provide.
