The Fun Lovin' Criminals Confirm One-Off London Show & Tickets

Multi-platinum funk-soul brothers, with 4 Top 10 albums to their name, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals are to play a one-off show in London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 17th September.

The Fun Lovin’ Criminals special mix of lounge, funk, hip-hop and metal has gained them a huge following, in fact, I don’t actually know anyone who dislikes their music!

Having been missing in action for five years, FLC are back with a new record, ‘Classic Fantastic’, which could be described as the first real classic party album of the decade. Released earlier this month, featuring collaborations with Roots Manuva and Paul Kaye, ‘Classic Fantastic’ bursts out of the band's recent gloomy past like a glorious ray of sunshine.

Having been caught up in an acrimonious legal battle with their first manager who they fired in 2003, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals cool as ever frontman Huey Morgan had this to say about the band’s return. “There’s this thing called Noetics. Which says if everybody thinks the same good thoughts, good things will happen. Likewise, negative thoughts - it’s not rocket science. And we all want the same thing, to be a Fun Lovin’ Criminal. You have to go through hell to get to heaven and now we’re finally out from under a lot of our problems, it’s a brand new day. So let’s go out and do what we love to do.”

Now, currently finishing a series of UK shows in support of the new album, Huey and the gang have announced a new one-off show for London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 17th September.

The Fun Lovin’ Criminals will play the following UK date:

September 2010

17th O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London

Tickets are available from 9am on Friday 19th March, priced from £22.50.
