Hard rock'n’roll legends Motorhead have unveiled the details for their annual UK tour this November.
2010 will be a very special year for the band led by iconic frontman Lemmy Kilmister, as it marks Motorhead’s 35th Anniversary as well as the release of their 21st studio album.
A busy year is ahead for Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee as not only will they be hitting the road with new album under their studded leather belts, the band have also been confirmed for Download Festival. Having played at the festival on 4 separate occasions, Motorhead will be part of this year’s outstanding line-up which will help celebrate 30 years of unrivalled rock/metal at the famous Donington Park venue. That’s not all though folks, Lemmy will also be returning to the silver screen later this year with the release of the rock god’s biopic ‘Lemmy’ (further details are to be announced).
Having thundered through the last three and a half decades deafening audiences worldwide, they have no doubt prooved as far as they are concerned, that everything really is louder than everything else. This tour will see Motorhead turn things up even further to make sure that their 35th Anniversary tour is not one to miss.
Talking about the announcement of the band’s 35th Anniversary tour, Lemmy had this to say: “35 years and still going, who would have thought - almost like fucking matrimony and no divorce in sight."
