In a rather you couldn’t make up this rubbish story, a 25 year old man has been chucked off a train for writing down The Killers songs on a piece of paper.
Tom Shaw, was asked to leave a South West train service at Fareham, after two members of staff approached him and told him he had been behaving suspiciously. Dear Tom had been thinking of possible tracks that his band, The Magic Mushrooms could play at an upcoming gig. He had written down “killers” rather than the band’s full name as well as ‘Take Me Out’ by Franz Ferdinand.
Reported by The Independent, the members of staff asked him to explain the list he had been writing and then asked him to leave the train. A spokeswoman has said “during a routine high-visibility patrol back in early March, they talked with a passenger on the platform at Fareham station. The team clarified the nature of the individual’s business…and he went on his way
Quite what else had suggested that Tom was a danger to passengers because of a piece of paper is beyond us here at stereoboard.com towers…we’re just happy the poor chap hadn’t added The Killers’ other tracks “Bones”, “Tranquilize” and “Under The Gun”...(ah thank you, we're here all week).
