Dundonian rockers The View have announced that they will be the final act performing at Delamere Forest as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music event this July.
The pint-sized scots are known for their lively, frenzied performances and will top the bill at the woodland venue on Sunday 4th July. Consisting of frontman Kyle Falconer, guitarist Peter Reilly, bassist Kieren Webster and drummer Steven Morrison, The View have had success with two albums to date, their Number One debut ‘Hats Off To The Buskers’ and follow-up ‘Which Bitch’.
Crafting catchy indie hits such as “Wasted Little DJs” and “Same Jeans” the often-controversial stars have established themselves as one of indie music’s most exciting edgy bands. They are currently working on what will be their third album.
Taking a break from the studio The View will play as part of the Forestry Commission’s Live Music project. The band will take to the specially constructed stage in the woodland clearing at Delamere Forest, Cheshire, with all proceeds going to benefit everything woodland.
The View join a vast array of artists who have teamed up to play the Forest gigs. Doves have performed already, while Elbow scheduled an entire tour of woodland concerts.
