Pink Floyd hero Roger Waters has said that the only real block on a full reunion is guitarist David Gilmour’s lack of interest.
After their brief joining of forces for Live 8 back in 2005, Waters has said that he would’ve “probably gone for doing some more stuff”. The band were offered huge sums of money to repeat a performance like Live 8, taking the show on tour which would have surely pleased fans all over. But unfortunately, Waters explained “David (Gilmour) is completely disinterested in anything like that”.
Talking to Associated Press, Waters also mentioned the Pink Floyd Musical – The Wall and it’s current progress. He said “that’s very much in the cards. I have been working on and off for the last year or so with an English writer named Lee Hall, who has become greatly celebrated over here and in London, because he wrote Billy Elliot, which is one of the most successful musical out there at the moment”.
