British songwriting legend Paul Weller is planning to stream the fourth gig of his current five-night stint at the Royal Albert Hall.
Even though the singer is now one of the more mature stars of British music, this has in no way slowed his efforts in crafting brilliant music with the Modfather being one of the hardest working men in British music.
Touring extensively, keeping a high profile and creating some of his best material in a decade, the star was rewarded with a Brit Award at last year’s ceremony. Even with his busy tour schedule Weller still manages to craft one of his best albums in a long time with ‘Wake Up The Nation’ being released last month to critical acclaim.
With a new lengthy British tour in the pipeline to support the new album, Paul Weller is now currently enjoying a five-night residency at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall. Showcasing material from ‘Wake Up The Nation’ the gigs will see Weller unleash his edgy punk attitude through songs featured on his new outspoken album.
Fans unable to get tickets for the sold-out shows will now be able to pay to watch Paul Weller in action with Thursday’s performance (May 27th) being broadcast online.
Tickets for the streamed show can be purchased from website http://paulweller.theconcertchannel.eu/Landing.aspx, however those unable to spend the cash can watch fifteen minutes of free footage from the site as well.
