Cambridgeshire's epic-rock act The Perfect Crime will release their debut album, "Everything Else Can Wait", via Speechless Records on August 16th and to celebrate the upcoming release the band are offering album opener, "Hailstones", as a free download.
The Perfect Crime recorded their album in March with top producer Pete Miles (King Blues, Crazy Arm, Failsafe, The Steal etc.) at Holne Bridge Studios in Devon.
Miles captured their sound live, showcasing the technicality in the arrangements of a band that has become water-tight through intense practise and years of musical understanding between the members.
The Perfect Crime take influence from a variety of artists – most notably Deftones, Thrice, early-Biffy Clyro and Oceansize, distilling and breaking that down into something that’s both honest and all-encompassing on impact, but with intricacy enough to reward further listens.
Belying their young age, “Everything Else Can Wait” is a mature and powerful statement of intent across ten tracks.
Sick with the scene rife with copycat bands, The Perfect Crime have striven to create music that's honest, powerful but different. Not content with settling for anything less has enabled the trio to create a powerful live show and prove to their local scene that you can be bold and try something new.
Their debut album "Everything Else Can Wait" shows sparks of progression where it's needed most these days, and the band are hoping to make the impact they deserve on the ever growing music scene.
Check out "Hailstones" and get a taste of it for yourself. Download "Hailstones" by The Perfect Crime for a limited time only for FREE from www.everythingelsecanwait.com.
You can catch The Perfect Crime supporting INME at Cambridge Junction on Sunday May 30th.
