Fatboy Slim Teams Up With Herve For New Single

Dance DJ icon Fatboy Slim will be joining forces with House music giant Herve for a new single set for release later this year.

Real name Norman Cook, Fatboy Slim has lately moved away from using his DJ moniker. During the summer of 2008 the producer set-up the Brighton Port Authority, with their debut album featuring a huge cast of special guest collaborations.

Expected to return this year after a taking 2009 off, Fatboy Slim has scheduled a series of tour dates before hooking up with electro-house wizard Herve to craft a brand new track for his summer comeback.

New single ‘Machines Can Do The Work’ is one hell of track, featuring in both the DJ’s sets and being belted out at clubs across the world. The single is set for release on 14th June and is due to be split into two parts with the collaboration being remixed by some respected guest producers.

With the track aiming to be the soundtrack for summer, Fatboy Slim has signed up for a load of festivals to coincide with the single release. Already a familiar face at Snowbombing, the DJ will fire-up the summer season with shows at SW4 and his regular haunt RockNess.

Returning to the Scottish festival for a third headline performance, Fatboy will surely be on fine form for what he claims is one of the finest festivals around.
