Keith Richards Autobiography Due Autumn This Year

It has been announced that the Rolling Stones guitarist, wild-man Keith Richards, is preparing to pen an autobiography. The only problem is however, Keith is having a bit of trouble remembering a few things.

Apparently the Rolling Stones guitarist is a huge fan of books. This may come as a shock to some of you but what won’t surprise you is that Richards’ mind has become a bit foggy over the years. Good job there have been countless numbers of reports regarding the party man’s antics, step forward Former NME scribe Nick Kent.

To help out with the Keith’s memory problem, Nick has recently revealed that he has been aiding Richards in remembering the early 1970’s, an era where apparently “things got really bad”.

In addition to the outrageous situations the guitarist has landed himself in, Kent also explains that a softer side of Richards emerged in front of him. Claiming that Richards broke down in tears “several times” and that his memories of bad times had fallen victim to suppression, he also states that the total amount of drugs Keith had taken over the years was more than “all Motely Crue put together.”

Whether or not there is any actual evidence of this remains unseen, however one thing is sure, Keith’s definitely had more than enough over the years.

With the Stones recent re-release of the expanded version of ‘Exile On Main Street’, the band are celebrating hitting the top-spot on the UK album chart once again. This latest news is sure to be a part of the more remembered chapters of life of one of rock’s most legendary figures.

Keith Richard’s autobiography is expected to be published this autumn.
