Dick Valentine—real name Tyler Spencer—is a singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, best known as the frontman of Electric Six.
After founding Electric Six in 1996, the band frequently played local shows before shooting to global recognition with their debut commercial singles Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar in 2003. They've gone on to record a whopping 20 studio albums to date, with the most recent being 2023's 'Turquoise'. Though Electric Six are still going strong, Valentine also embarked on a solo career in 2012, releasing 12 solo records of his own including, most recently, 'Do You Notice?' in 2024.
