Dirty Heads are an American rap-rock and reggae crossover outfit hailing from Sacremento, California.
First formed by rapper Jared ‘Dirty J’ Watson and vocalist/guitarist Dustin ‘Duddy B’ Bushnell in 1996, the band currently consists of the pair alongside percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa, bassist David Foral, and keyboardist Shawn Gonzalez. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Sublime, Dirty Heads’ music blends reggae and ska with hip hop and rock, creating a fusion of classical roots style and the alternative nu-skool sound we hear today. To date, the band have released eight studio albums, the latest being 2022's 'Midnight Control'. Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid have announced their summer 2024 co-headline Slightly Dirty Tour across the United States.
